EVTA Panel No. 2, November 20, 2020
The EVTA board send you all good wishes during this time of unprecedented challenges to our health, to our cultural heritage, to our teaching practice and to our livelihoods. To address this, on November 20 we held a Zoom meeting hosted by our Portuguese colleagues on the effects of online teaching.
One of the positive outcomes of Covid-19 has been an increase in online connectivity across the world and a recent NATS Zoom meant we were able to share our experiences with each other. We hope this Zoom meeting will also help us all cope with the demands of this pandemic. Filipa Lã and Mauro Fiuza from APVoz talked about some of the technical aspects of online teaching, but the main part of our 1 hour chat was sharing experiences.
Here you can see the recording of the panel:
The presentation slides are available for download here (PDF, 2 MB).
Allen Henderson (NATS) shared the following resources:
1) NATS COVID-19 Resources page
2) YouTube tutorial on self-made videos
Filipa and her colleagues at UNED are also offering a course on Voice Pedagogy and Technology, in case you are interested, please find more information about it here.
