Bo Rosenkull

Dr. Bo Rosenkull is a Professor of Singing and Singing Pedagogy at the Royal Academy of
Music (KMH) in Stockholm. He is also a Professor of Dramatic Performance with a
specialization in Music-Dramatic Singing at the Academy of Music and Drama (HSM) at
Gothenburg University. Bo has been the president of Voice Teachers of Sweden for eight
years and is now the Vice President of EVTA.

He is a sought-after voice pedagogue and has held masterclasses at music- and opera-
universities in; South Africa (Cape Town, Potchefstroom, Pretoria and Stellenbosch),
Azerbaijan, Seychelles, Netherlands, Turkey, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Norway,
Italy and Sweden. Bo is also a frequent lecturer and workshop leader and has lectured at
conferences such as ISME, PASMAE, ICVT, EUROVOX, PEVoC and at the German, Italian
and Norwegian Singing Teachers’ Associations.

He has sung more than 1500 performances as a principal artist for; the Royal Opera
Stockholm, Folkoperan Stockholm, Gothenburg Opera, Malmö Opera, Riksteatern,
Norrlandsoperan and more. Furthermore, he has worked as a choir conductor and music
teacher in primary and secondary school. In addition, Bo is the author and composer of the
book Come and sing!

Edwin Pitt Mansfield

With a reputation for working with exceptional young voices, Edwin is an educator, performer and musical director. Edwin is Head of Choral Music and teaches singing at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts, having previously taught at The Royal Ballet School and Stowe School. He is a deputy vocal teacher at the Royal College of Music Junior Department and an examiner for Trinity College London, a role which has taken him worldwide. Edwin chaired the Association of Teachers of Singing (UK) from 2022-2024 having been part of the council since 2016. He currently occupies the role of Past Chair. When not working in schools, he runs a busy private teaching studio from his home in Hertfordshire.

Edwin completed and MA in Music Education at UCL, with a specialism in working with teenage young singers and has a particular interest in male voice change, leading workshops and presenting at conferences throughout the UK on the topic. Edwin is a passionate advocate for accessible music education. He was a judge on the Music and Drama awards 2025 and is a
regular contributor to Music Teacher magazine. As a conductor, he is Musical Director of the
Buckinghamshire County Youth Choir and Aylesbury Consort of Voices.

He trained at Junior Guildhall School of Music and Dance and subsequently at Trinity College of Music. He has sung roles and chorus for opera companies and choirs throughout the UK and France alongside many lieder and English song recitals. www.edwinpittmansfield.com

Edgars Skarbulis

Latvian baritone Edgars Skarbulis began his singing career as a member of the world-famous Youth Choir Kamēr…, which encouraged him to study Voice at bachelor and master degree level at the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music, class of Zigrīda Krīgere (2012-2018). He continued his education with a DAAD scholarship as a post-graduate student of opera singing at the Mannheim Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Germany with Professor Snezana Stamenkovic (2018-2021). Thanks to his MSc degree in Chemistry (2013), he has an enriching background in natural sciences and research as well.

With his freshly gained skills and knowledge, he returned to the Youth Choir Kamēr… as a vocal coach and project manager, thus gaining vast experience in production and event organisation as well. In 2012, he was elected into the executive board of the Latvian Voice Teachers Association (LATS), where he helped to organise a Eurovox congress in Riga (2015), planned the annual conferences and later took over the presidency of the association (2022-2024). Edgars is now an honorary member of LATS, and a member of the EVTA executive board since 2021.

Currently Edgars resides in Germany where he is a member of the Badischer Staatsopernchor and can be seen in several roles at the theatre in Karlsruhe and heard in various concerts.

Eleanor Forbes

Born in Scotland, studied German (Aberdeen, Zürich) and classical singing (RCM London). Opera and concerts with wide-ranging repertoire. Taught as freelance voice teacher at higher education institutions in Berlin, Dresden and Hamburg. 2010 awarded professor title by Hanns Eisler School of Music, Berlin. 2014-18 member at large on board of BDG, member of EVTA board since 2021.

As Estill Master Trainer awarded Service Distinction by Estill Voice International. Lectures, workshops and teaching demonstrations in multi-genre voice work in colleges and at conferences in Germany and abroad. Translator of German publications about music, singing and vocal pedagogy (e.g. for Breitkopf & Härtel).
